One week to go !

It’s now one week to go until the opening weekend and the Mount Hotham Resort Management are reporting that with windchill factors as low as -11.6 degrees, that the snowmakers were hard at work making sure the snowguns were firing across the Big D, Summit Trainer and Sun Run. 7cm of snow fell on Saturday night and snow is forecast to continue to fall on Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance of light snowfalls on Friday, in the lead up to Opening...

Pre Opening Weekend update

Mount Hotham Management have advised that there has now been six pre-season snowfalls to date. Last weekend up to 60cm of snow fell and it has been put to good use, with over 200 truckloads farmed and delivered to the Big D at Mount Hotham. Snowmaking started in the early hours of Tuesday morning and the guns have been making snow over the Big D and Swindlers Valley when conditions allow.
