End of another Opening Weekend

Posted on Jun 15, 2016 While we arrived with only one or two centimetres of snow on the ground, it didn’t damper the party spirit around the APEA lodge. Saturday nights party saw all the girls dressed up as pirates and all the boys dressed as fairys. The Pirates and Fairys theme continued with the games and then with the movies, not to mention all the great decorations throughout the lodge. Opening Weekend 2015, two lifts open.

Posted on Jun 12, 2015 With some snowfalls earlier in the week, and some icy cold temperatures, the 2015 opening of the  snow season kicked off with two lifts open, Big D and Playground offering a small taste of things to come. Visibility was poor and winds were strong, but for some it was worth it to be rewarded with short lift queues, even if the snow coverage wasn’t complete.
